Today we finally arrived at the capital city of the N.T, Darwin. We arrived at Free Spirit Resort/Caravan Park and set up ready to do a little exploring. We first drove around the streets of the city and for the first time in a month, saw the turquoise colour of the ocean. The sad thing about seeing the ocean now is that we wont see it again for the rest of the trip. We first went to the beautiful Botanical Gardens to have a quick look. The section that we looked at was very pretty but we couldn't stay there for long. That is because we were going to the Mindil Beach night market.

Then we had to choose some dinner out of the 30 food vans. I chose to have 1 large delicious Chicken Dim-Sim and 1 Prawn Tempura. We then went back to the picnic rug on the beach and watched the beautiful sunset with the hundreds of other people on the beach. After we left the beach we went and watched a fire show. Two people were doing acts with real fire. They put the fire in their mouths, set fire to their hula hoops while hula hooping, set fire to an umbrella while dancing with it, run sticks of fire along their arms, picked up fire with their own hands, used a fire whip and balanced on top of 5 crates while juggling sticks that were on fire. After that it was late so we went back to the caravan for a good nights sleep.
