Entering the Northern Territory

Today we left Lake Argyle and had a short drive to Zebra Rock Mine to camp.  On the way we sadly but funnily left WA and arrived in our new state, the Northern Territory. When we crossed over the border we had to change our clocks and put the time forward an hour and a half, so we are now only half an hour behind Victoria.

After we set up we went over to the reception and were told that we could polish and keep our own piece of Zebra Rock.  So we we picked a piece and went over to the table and worked hard for an hour to get our stones smoother though the one I had had a rough surface.  Kade and dad went down to the dry creek to fossick while I was polishing my stone and they came back with a small piece of Zebra Rock that they had found themselves.  They gave it to me so I could turn it into a beautiful necklace.  Later we played a game of Cricket and then Billionaire with our new friends Emily and Phoebe.
