Kununurra

Today we visited the Market.  We bought some fresh produce and some yummy fudge and toffee bars.  After that went to look at the Sandel Wood Gallery which is where they make lots of skin care products made of a Sandel Wood oil which is from a kind of tree.  Then we had a look at Ivanhoe Crossing which is through water and was the only way you could get to a town called Wyndham but due to the high water, the crossing is closed.  Now there is a new nice and easy way to get across, the bridge that we used to get into Kununurra.  We spent the rest of the day back at the Holiday Park swimming and playing dodgeball and races in the pool with our friends.  The only other thing we did was go to a lookout at sunset and watched the beautiful sun do down over the mountains.

I would like to thank everyone that has commented on my blog so far.  I read each and every one but can’t always reply.  Thanks to Nanny, Poppy, Nanny, Poppy, Lily, Emma, Holly, Lily’s Grandma, Leni, Brody and Rory Edwards, The Burrows and Mrs Humby.

  1. Looks like you are all enjoying yourself. Been checking your blog frequently. Glad to hear there was no damage on the Gibb River Road. I'm not sure I would be swimming with those crocs. Continue to enjoy yourselves.
