Walking Around Broome

Yesterday I was a bit unwell again so we didn't do much apart from in the morning we went to Gantheaume Point and saw some dinosaur footprints and also visited the Japanese Cemetary.  Last night, when I felt better, we went back to Cable Beach to watch the sunset. We also saw the camels giving rides to the people along the beach.

Today we got up early to drop off our car at the mechanic to get serviced, so we were left car-less for the rest of the day.  One of the people at the mechanics gave us a lift to the Chinatown section of Broome.  It was only 8:00 am so none of the shops were open.  So we just walked around enjoying the lovely warm sun.  Once the shops opened we went inside the old Sun Pictures Cinema which we had walked past the other day but it was closed.  It was very interesting.  We bought a homemade ice-cream and my flavour was called Space Junk which was Vanilla with its of mashed up Sprinkles, Choc Chips and M&M’s.  We sat on the grassy oval for a while and did a lot of walking around.  For lunch I had a yummy ham and cheese croissant from Echo’s CafĂ©.   After 6 hours of wandering around, we caught a Taxi back to the mechanic to pick up our car.  Once we were in our car we drove straight back to shops and bought all our meat and veggies ready for moving onto Cape Leveque in the morning.
